I wish it were easier to add someone as your friend on artition.

artition:
How would you describe your work/art/style?
EF:The words aren’t yet there to fully describe the technique.I have recently been
experimenting with digital technology to produce a photographic
cartoon hybrid which documents the world as I see it.
artition:
What or who inspires you?
EF: People, just people in general.People in galleries, I particularly like people in galleries.
artition:
Is there a message you want to communicate with your art?
EF:Yes - there is no magic answer.People are always asking for a ‘message’ I
actually find that very frustrating. I mean what do people expect
when they ask for a message, art in-itself can’t answer questions it
can only ask them.

artition:
How would you describe your work/art/style?
M: Ah! I suppose if I had words for it I wouldn’t take photos. On occasion I just happen to see images that seem to ask to be celebrated, and I try to do so. In hindsight, I can observe that some notion of a style emerges, but it is not deliberate and in fact I am the first one to be surprised about it.
artition:
M: What or who inspires you?
First of all, an old friend who is the one who introduced me to photography. I don’t even know whether she knows that I like taking photos, but it did all start with her. Then a variety of visual artists, almost only painters. Most of the great ones. And of course the millions of images that I would like to capture but that unfailingly elude me.
artition:
Is there a message you want to communicate with your art?
M: I never thought about that. I’d say definitely not. I agree with those who say that creative endeavours are not supposed to convey messages, but just to be, and to express their urgency, their necessity of being. If that makes any sense.
artition:
How do you like artition and what would you like to be added or changed?
M: I think it is a very neat idea, and I wish it all the best. Personally what I like the most is the opportunity to get feedback, and if there were any way to incentivise users to rate, and perhaps also comment, more, that would be grand. Once it gets to a critical mass, I am sure there will be several ways to harness its users’ skills and knowledge. Art-oriented discussions, for instance, may be interesting. One challenge will be to ensure the level of the work on display (which regrettably was dragged down a notch as I joined…).
artition:
Why did you join artition?
M: As I was mentioning above, to get feedback, and to see if I’d find interesting, inspiring work.
artition:
Who would you like to change life with for one day?
M: Nobody, really. But if I can concoct my own scenario, I’d probably be a globally relevant decision-maker on the day of a crucial decision, so that finally things would go my way. It would be best for everybody, I reckon.
artition:
Who is your favourite artist?
M: That old chestnut. Sticking to painting, I’ll just make a random, unsatisfactory list: Caravaggio, Rembrandt, Tintoretto, Rothko, Kiefer, Hopper, Durer, Vermeer, Bosch, and I could go on and on and on but I’ll stop here.
artition:
Is there any artwork or artist on artition you would like to feature?
M: I looked back and noticed I have ‘favourited’ two items: ‘The Merry Moon Goddess’ of Shunyata, the sort of work I would never be able to produce or even conceive but that fascinates me; and ‘Orange Chocolate’ by subjectiveart: that one is much more in line with the way I see things.
Today we are featuring Nicola Pucci an italian artists who does beautiful paintings.
In my opinion he is an amazing talent as his artworks have a great effect on the viewer and set up an impressive atmosphere.

artition:
How would you describe your work/art/style?
NP:
In my artworks,I like to be very realistic and soft with the brush, but I must work over the realistic image with violent stroke and gestual brush!
I put my rational side and my passionated side in the painting. The faces of my person for infinite experiment, to look for a live together!!!
Art is a way to learn and know more about me and a way to discuss with myself.
artition:
What or who inspires you?
NP:
I’m a great observator, I observe the people around me, but myself for first.
artition:
Who is your favourite artist?
NP:
A contemporary artist I loved a lot was Francis Bacon.
Old masters I like Leonardo Caravagggio Ribera, and that who tried to put somethink new in the art!
I like artworks that surprise me - and let me see the world form another point of view. I like the ironic which is the only way to win the drama
Nicola Pucci
Again we are featuring an artition. He really was a user of the first hour which actually was the reason why I wanted to start this post series with him…but then I decided to keep this amazing artist for later….
