artition:
How would you describe your work/art/style?
EF:The words aren’t yet there to fully describe the technique.I have recently been
experimenting with digital technology to produce a photographic
cartoon hybrid which documents the world as I see it.
artition:
What or who inspires you?
EF: People, just people in general.People in galleries, I particularly like people in galleries.
artition:
Is there a message you want to communicate with your art?
EF:Yes - there is no magic answer.People are always asking for a ‘message’ I
actually find that very frustrating. I mean what do people expect
when they ask for a message, art in-itself can’t answer questions it
can only ask them.
artition
Why did you join artition?
EF: I like joining things.
artition:
Who would you like to change life with for one day?
EF:My cleaner.
artition:
Who is your favourite artist?
EF: Max Beckmann.
Today we are featuring achondo_m from Latin America who recently joined us.
We think that his works are amazing. Though they are so easy they are just fascinating.

artition:
How would you describe your work/art/style?
AM: My work basically is about an oil paint that combines colour and texture to send out a message that communicates my experiences with universal subject matters. The Observer should feel identified with my works. I use a figurative style, believing that it allows me to express a form, which is wide and recognisable. The most important however is the message in them.
artition:
What or who inspires you?
AM: I am inspired by life, though it sounds like a cliche ,life gives me experiences, may they be bad or good, which I want to share with everyone, so I draw about the life by which I am inspired.
artition:
Is there a message you want to communicate with your art?
AM: There always exists a message , but the message is different everytime according to the moment of my life and my experience.
artition:
How do you like artition and what would you like to be added or changed?
AM: I would not change anything on artition but I would like it to be translated into Spanish.
artition:
Why did you join artition?
AM: Because it is interesting for me that other artists see my works and tell me what they think about them.
artition:
Who would you like to change life with for one day?
AM: I would never change my life with anyone..
artition:
Who is your favourite artist?
AM: I like the classic painters, also some of the impressionists like Van Gogh . Modern, I like very much Lucien Freud or Alex Kanevsky. Francis Bacon is a teacher and to change a bit of style I like a lot Antoni Tapies or Giacometi.
Today after some time we are back with a new member interview with an outstanding talent.
I love the atmosphere marcoi is setting up in his pictures. Take a look at my favourites:
artition member interview
artition:
How would you describe your work/art/style?
M: Ah! I suppose if I had words for it I wouldn’t take photos. On occasion I just happen to see images that seem to ask to be celebrated, and I try to do so. In hindsight, I can observe that some notion of a style emerges, but it is not deliberate and in fact I am the first one to be surprised about it.
artition:
M: What or who inspires you?
First of all, an old friend who is the one who introduced me to photography. I don’t even know whether she knows that I like taking photos, but it did all start with her. Then a variety of visual artists, almost only painters. Most of the great ones. And of course the millions of images that I would like to capture but that unfailingly elude me.
artition:
Is there a message you want to communicate with your art?
M: I never thought about that. I’d say definitely not. I agree with those who say that creative endeavours are not supposed to convey messages, but just to be, and to express their urgency, their necessity of being. If that makes any sense.
artition:
How do you like artition and what would you like to be added or changed?
M: I think it is a very neat idea, and I wish it all the best. Personally what I like the most is the opportunity to get feedback, and if there were any way to incentivise users to rate, and perhaps also comment, more, that would be grand. Once it gets to a critical mass, I am sure there will be several ways to harness its users’ skills and knowledge. Art-oriented discussions, for instance, may be interesting. One challenge will be to ensure the level of the work on display (which regrettably was dragged down a notch as I joined…).
artition:
Why did you join artition?
M: As I was mentioning above, to get feedback, and to see if I’d find interesting, inspiring work.
artition:
Who would you like to change life with for one day?
M: Nobody, really. But if I can concoct my own scenario, I’d probably be a globally relevant decision-maker on the day of a crucial decision, so that finally things would go my way. It would be best for everybody, I reckon.
artition:
Who is your favourite artist?
M: That old chestnut. Sticking to painting, I’ll just make a random, unsatisfactory list: Caravaggio, Rembrandt, Tintoretto, Rothko, Kiefer, Hopper, Durer, Vermeer, Bosch, and I could go on and on and on but I’ll stop here.
artition:
Is there any artwork or artist on artition you would like to feature?
M: I looked back and noticed I have ‘favourited’ two items: ‘The Merry Moon Goddess’ of Shunyata, the sort of work I would never be able to produce or even conceive but that fascinates me; and ‘Orange Chocolate’ by subjectiveart: that one is much more in line with the way I see things.
Today we are featuring Sri Shunyata artitions first jeweler.
In the latest artition member interview you can learn all about him and his work.

artition:
How would you describe your work/art/style?
S:My work is unhindered by convention and some would say, provocative! It spans a great number of creative mediums. Designing and creating is a passion that was born with, the only credit I can take, is how I cultivate and chose to apply it.
I love creating fine jewelry, out of 22 karat, yellow gold and precious gems. I rarely use white gold, because gold itself is the vibrant ‘sun’ of metallurgy, while silver is the moon, and respectively, they are represented by the hues of yellow and white.
Many of the themes embodied in my designs are inspired by natural shapes and forms. Nature is the most prolific artist whose brush strokes paint the world with innumerable variations of harmonic beauty. I am also inspired by the legacy of mythology: by the ancient races, barely visible in the mist of time, and the faint impressions, of there rituals and beliefs. I am inspired by the mysteries of time, creation and simply by the remarkable nature of this wondrous universe in which we live.
To a fault, I can not help but see, the beauty in each and every person that I meet. It brings me great pleasure to enhance this beauty, and bring treasure into peoples lives. Adornment is a form of worship, of worshiping pure beauty and love.
My creative expression is not limited to gold jewelry. I also make Art d’Objet and have been known to spend several years just to make one piece. I take after the tradition of renaissance artist and the masters of old, whose talents not only reached across many artistic disciplines, but also across many fields of endeavor.
Over the years I have trained a number of apprentices and since developed a multi-media presentation called “Life Design”. It goes behind the obvious to visit the unseen matrix that underlies my designs and can also be found in the works of Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Albrecht Durer. Going back even further in time this formula is present in the monumental works of the ancient Egyptians, the ancient Greek and Mayan cultures.
“Life Design” also reveals a phenomena I have come to call the “Language of Form”. A very simple example is illustrated by the circle and square. The inherent nature of the ‘irrational’ circle, is that of movement, as is evidenced by its use as a wheel. In contrast, the nature of the highly rational square or quadrangle, is that of stability, as is evidenced by the shape of building blocks.
The “Language of Form” like color and music, directly influences our feelings and emotions. It is naturally present in the proportions of the human body, in a flowering plant and also in the geo-cosmic relationship of planetary bodies.
Being a primarily unseen formula the “Language of Form” can be applied to any and every form of creativity — from engineering to free form sculpture. I personally have —
• applied it to — a number of architectural developments and projects
• used it to — design and paint the sacred symbolism of a Hindu Temple.
• used it in — the design of corporate logos, branding packages and in a more abstract manner, even in business development and consultancy.
• It is present — in my paintings (oil on canvas and also mixed media).
AND
also in the composition of my photography!
One of my most favored means of expression is writing. I write on topics as varied as philosophy, sacred tradition, sacred geometry along with children’s stories and poetry.
I don’t paint as much as I used to. Some years ago a tragic fire broke out in my studio and left the ashes of few hundred paintings in its wake. So my painting is intermittent at present. I do however work with mixed media and continue to develop fine art in a style that I would personally ‘symbolic surrealism’ with a hidden dimension.
How do you like artition and what would you like to be added or changed?
I think Artition is fantastic concept. It is like a global gallery that is unrestrained by commercialism. What I mean is that most galleries showcase known artist and personalities while at Artition a much greater number of artist are able to display there work.
I enjoy being able to visit and stroll through its pages. I love the raw diversified creativity that I come across and am inspired by those special pieces that I throughly admire. It is still but a babe but has a bright future ahead of it. One that I am happy to support and be a part of.
artition:
Who would you like to change life with for one day?
S: I just enjoy being who I am.
artition:
Who is your favourite artist?
S:My favorite artists are Salvador Dali, Albrecht Durer and Alex Grey.
artition:
Is there any artwork or artist on artition you would like to feature?
S: I the short time I have been a part of the artition community I haven’t gotten to see every bodies work but I love the works of Momoko, especially what she does with her carved line’s collection.
Besides visiting my gallery at Artition you are also welcome to visit my website at — http://www.zoeinjewels.com/

artition:
How would you describe your work/art/style?
NP:
In my artworks,I like to be very realistic and soft with the brush, but I must work over the realistic image with violent stroke and gestual brush!
I put my rational side and my passionated side in the painting. The faces of my person for infinite experiment, to look for a live together!!!
Art is a way to learn and know more about me and a way to discuss with myself.
artition:
What or who inspires you?
NP:
I’m a great observator, I observe the people around me, but myself for first.
artition:
Who is your favourite artist?
NP:
A contemporary artist I loved a lot was Francis Bacon.
Old masters I like Leonardo Caravagggio Ribera, and that who tried to put somethink new in the art!
I like artworks that surprise me - and let me see the world form another point of view. I like the ironic which is the only way to win the drama
Nicola Pucci
Momoko Sudo is an amazing artist born in Japan now living in Miami, Florida.
Her three main directions/styles are:
Linescaping
LineScaping, is a series of original art works, created by lines. It features a minimalist abstraction with a distinctive style. All lines are drawn freehand one by one, unlike some people may suspect its computer assisted.
Collage
Mixed media Collage in also original abstract, has a lot to do with experimentations, whereas LineScaping art requires rather constrained forms. In this work, natural and incidental occurrences of materials are cropped and elaborated to the outcome as artworks, instead of controlling the whole operation.
Epoxy Resin
The recent addition to MOMOKO’s art is epoxy resin works. Resin dramatically changes the appearance of artworks

artition:
How would you describe your work/art/style?
MS: I detest generalizing my art because I am not dead yet and my work has a life of its own, but my work may fall into the categories of Optical Art, Minimalism, Abstract Expressionism, Abstract Impressionism, and any combination of those.
artition:
What or who inspires you?
MS: In visual point of view, everything I see in daily life inspires me. Demolished buildings, patterns of leaves, animals, people, food packages, construction sites, and pretty much anything, even trash, interests me because I see them as visual elements.
Another inspiration is the technical challenge. I need to keep inventing new techniques in order to achieve certain results, and I enjoy “engineering” aspect of work process required to actualize my creativity.
artition:
Is there a message you want to communicate with your art?
MS: I want each viewer see what he or she wants to see in my abstract art. When we look at something we are actually looking at our thoughts that are associated with our memories, experiences, and outlook within ourselves. In other words, my art looks different if a viewer’s view changes. All of us are free in our thoughts, and that’s the message.
artition:
How do you like artition and what would you like to be added or changed?
MS: Artition was recommended by a successful business man, and since I trust his business judgments. Since it is a new service it’s too soon for me to form an opinion at this time. With that being said, I like Artition because the site is in English yet is centered in Germany and appears to be aiming to global audiences instead of targeting the local area.
artition:
Who would you like to change life with for one day?
MS: I want to be Vladimir Horowitz and play the piano for a full day.
artition:
Who is your favourite artist?
MS: Agnes Martin, Alexander Calder
artition:
Is there any artwork or artist on artition you would like to feature?
(just give a link)
MS: N/A
